1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with current legislation in the European Union, you have a period of 14 calendar days to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to provide reasons.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, physically takes possession of the product. If your order includes several items delivered separately, the period starts from the receipt of the last lot.

2. Responsibility, Testing and Depreciation of Products

At BaByZe™, we strictly adhere to the rules regarding the handling of your orders. Thus:

  • Your return cannot be automatically refused solely because the shipping box is open or its original packaging is damaged.
  • You are legally entitled to open the product and test it to verify its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning, in the same way you would during a direct purchase in a physical store.

However, you are fully responsible for the depreciation of the product resulting from excessive handling beyond what is necessary. As such:

  • A proportional financial depreciation may be applied if the product shows signs of excessive, inappropriate, or prolonged use (e.g., obvious signs of outdoor rolling for wheeled equipment, soiling).
  • The refund may be totally refused if the item is returned incomplete (missing accessories or parts), severely damaged, or rendered permanently unfit for compliant resale.
3. Return Shipping Costs

In accordance with the options provided by European regulations and stipulated in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCs), the direct costs of returning and transporting the product are the sole responsibility of the customer. These costs must be paid by you to the carrier of your choice to ensure the secure return of the goods to our logistics centers.

4. Refund Period

In the event of a valid withdrawal, we undertake to refund you all sums received, including initial delivery costs (calculated on the basis of the least expensive standard delivery method we offer).

This refund will be made without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen (14) calendar days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

Right of retention: Please note that we reserve the legal right to defer your refund until the actual receipt of the returned items at our premises, or until you have provided undeniable proof of shipment of the goods (the date taken being the earlier of these events).
5. Legal Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply and is legally excluded for the following product types:

  • Goods made to your clear specifications or clearly personalized.
  • Goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for strict reasons of hygiene or health protection.
